Sensory Concerts
We present concerts of the music of the Kichwa communities of Imbabura, music that is born and develops around the cultivating of one of the most important grains for the continuity of life: corn.
This is a sensory concert. This living work provides participants with a unique experience, that of listening, dancing, feeling, and being within and in the midst of an ancestral ritual, through different interactive experiences and different perspectives (general, immersed, and deep).
The entire concert is experienced by the participants with blindfolds. Concertgoers need to be blindfolded and sit or lie down in comfortable positions to enjoy the concert.
This type of concert may be performed in any space that is quiet. It does not need sound equipment, and during the concert, attendees can enjoy sensations with their hands and feet, smells, and tastes - by consuming certain types of food and drinks.
